4.0 out of 5 stars Top of Its Class
This is a superb camera that I have been happily shooting on since its release, and given the chance again now, it is still the camera I would choose. Why only four stars then? Let me explain.
The background to this camera is what makes it so great. They incorporated many of the features from the more expensive D300, and managed to fit it and more into its...

3.0 out of 5 stars D90 Error Messages
The Nikon D90 is a good Digital SLR and I have to say I'm satisfied with the picture quality, feel/weight of the camera and the way the function buttons are layed out. The only problem I have with the camera is the error mesages. Two appear intermittantly. "F--" is the least severe as all it takes to free that is a little twist to the lens as this will make good the...

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Tablet PC on the Planet from an Android User....
Call me Lazy but I purchased this for lazying about on the couch when I could NOT be bothered to boot up the "main DESKTOP" and sit in front of the huge screen.

Its nice once and a while to get away from the 24 inch Desktop PC Screen. Hence the iPad 2. - I don't know what I would do without it now TBH.

Anyways I never bought the iPad 1. because I...

3.0 out of 5 stars not using it as much as I anticipated
It looks beautiful and is lovely to hold and use. I got used to the interface very quickly. However, as someone who spends a lot of time browsing the internet, I am surprised how I prefer to use the PC more than the iPAD for most of my browsing.
I think this is for a few reasons:
1. I haven't yet set up the email client so all my emails are to my PC and filed...

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant tablet!
Bought the Samsung Galaxy 10.1 16 GB tablet online from a different supplier as Amazon were unable to explain the price difference between the black and the white versions of this tab. The black one was on offer at £359.10 whereas the white one was shown as £399. I notice today the prices have gone up so I don't know what is going on with Amazon. The competitor still has...

3.0 out of 5 stars I wanted so much more
I wanted this to be so much more. I have only ever used the iPod touch as a very small but practical tablet. It was great if a little restricted. So I made the jump to an Android tablet having used a Samsung Galaxys2 phone, which I was very impressed with and runs Android Ice cream sandwich very well.
I decided to buy the Galaxy 10.1 having read the reviews and...

Small, compact, Hi-Def, Good price and... RUBBISH!!! Cant pick up natural lights very well so a real dissapointment when I played back my 1 Year old opening her Christmas presents only to have to squint to make her out. Sound not all that good and you need a degree in all sciences to work out the menu screen... When it works! The screen turned bright green and viewed...

Apple MacBook Pro 13 inch Laptop

Apple MacBook Pro 13 inch Laptop (Dual-Core i5 2.4GHz, RAM 4GB, HDD 500GB Graphics SD card slot
I have owned Apple Macs since 2001. I bought a G4 PowerMac that year and it's still running well today. Since then I've owned a number of Apple products, this Macbook Pro being the latest. As much as I love the stuff from this company, I find myself slightly resenting the fact that they used to be a bit of an alternative to the mass of Windows machines out there: there was always a feeling that by going the Apple route you weren't just following the crowd. In some ways it seems unfortunate that times have changed; what was once a company selling very well built and designed computers has turned into a corporate monster with a continuous push to dominate the world of cool with their endless product placements in movies and more and more shiny but fairly useless products. OK, rant over! This is a review of the Macbook Pro and so I will ignore my gripes with the company as a whole.

Kindle e-reader

I wasn't immediately keen on the idea of the Amazon Kindle as I thought I would lose some of the enjoyment of the reading experience - I suppose I thought it would be like reading from a standard computer screen. That was until I had a look at my mum's Kindle and from the moment I started reading I knew I had to have one!

I ordered the Touch, as for £20 more you get a more slimline product, and I am delighted with it.

It is light, attractive and comfortable to hold;

The screen is responsive, but not excessively so;

It is nicer to read than paper. I activated the 'refresh e-ink after every page turn' feature to avoid the ghost writing that people have warned of and have not found it to be a problem whatsoever;
